New Tile Floor

Between my son and I working full time jobs, any my web work, we decided to redo our Kitchen, Hallway and Bathroom floor. Of course, when you plan on pounding out a job in a few days it almost never goes as planned. **plan on it taking more time.. and more materials for that matter**

We ran into a few issues, such as a flooring that was tile under the linoleum subfloor (actually two layers of flooring). The subfloor was not only stapled down, it was stapled 2 to 3 times as much as it would have need to be and then my old tile cutter, which can be seen in two of the pictures, decided to stop working.

That said, the floor is complete. We do plan on using the same decorative tile that borders the design in the center of the kitchen to do the backsplash above the countertop and behind the stove (replacing the gray brick). We also painted the cabinets to match the tile.
